Greg joined Young Talent Time in 1971
and was a member until 1975.
He auditioned to be part of the original team and
was unsuccessful,
but did appear as a contestant on the second episode.
Following this,
Greg then returned for the semi finals, where the
producers approached his
Mum and he made his way into the team.
Greg enjoyed touring the most, both as a team member
and later as the Musical Director.
When he left the team he started arranging and
composing the music for the show.
Greg became the Associate Musical Director for
around five years and
then became the Musical Director at
just 23 years of age!
It was actually Greg, after he had left the show,
along with Johnny Young, who
auditioned Dannii Minogue for a spot in the team.
"I couldn't sing to save
myself," Dannii says."Greg went to John after
the audition and said,
'She's cute, but she can't sing very well'
and he said, 'I know. We'll teach her.
I just want her on the show'."
Greg is still involved in the music business and now
has his own
production company - Greg Mills Productions.
He lists one of his
biggest achievements as the Musical Director for
the official opening
ceremony of Sydney's Olympic Stadium.

When asked if he would do it all over again,
his reply was: "In a minute,
absolutely, no regrets."
