Jane Scali joined YTT in 1971 as one of the original
team members and was part of the show for five
years.
Jane, who now resides in Sydney with her hasband
Paul Martell, is still heavily involved in the
showbusiness world. She has starred in
many musicals including the role of Sandy in "Grease" with YTT member
Dannii Minogue and alongside Phillip Gould in "Annie".
Winner of seven Mo Awards and an Ace Award for Best
Female Vocal Performer of the Year, Jane was only
eleven years old when she leapt to national stardom
as one of the original members of the popular long-running television
show 'Young Talent Time'.
Her long list of television credits include four
years as a weekly regular on the
ABC's 'The Saturday Show' and 'The Rolf Harris Show'.
Through the years her numerous performances on national variety shows
like 'The Don Lane Show', 'Bert Newton', 'The Midday Show',
'Good Morning Australia', 'IMT', 'Carols by Candlelight',
and three years as a regular on 'Roy and HG',
have established her as one of the most successful and
popular female performers in Austral> ia today.
Jane has toured with such stars as Ronnie Corbett, Rolf Harris,
and Neil Sedaka and performed in Greece and most of the major centres in Asia.
She has also enjoyed working alongside her husband, multi-award
winning comedian-impressionist Paul Martell.
Her theatre credits include 'Cinderella', 'The Student Prince',
'Fractured Fairytales', 'Smokey Joe's Café' and in 1998 she performed the
role of Sandy in 'Grease - the Arena Spectacular!', playing to over half a
million people in Australia and New Zealand.
